Every gown fits every person differently, so it's difficult to estimate the cost of alterations without seeing it. Pricing will be given after first fitting appointment and payment is due upon pickup. How long will it take to alter my gown? Our turnaround time is approximately 2 weeks. We understand everyone has a busy schedule and sometimes dresses are not shipped on time or events come up last minute. We are flexible and do emergencies alterations often*. Congratulations! Wedding planning can be very stressful and we want to make the process as easy as we can. We suggest your first fitting to be scheduled approximately 8 weeks before your wedding date. At your second fitting, all the alterations will be finished. This should be scheduled about 4 weeks before your wedding. You will try on the dress again and make sure everything fits to your liking. Some gowns are more complex than others and may need additional fittings. I'm getting married but I am losing weight. When should I bring my gown in? We like to fit your gown when you are closest to your wedding date, but still have time to work on the gown and schedule your second fitting. The first fitting be scheduled 4 weeks before the wedding date. If you are uncomfortable with this time frame, you're more than welcome to come in earlier for a consultation.
